A & W Contracting, Inc. has opened a second location in Forsyth County and expects nothing less than to stand up to the county's values.

With their first location opening over 15 years ago in Kennesaw, this quality-in-mind roofing company made leaps and bounds in the industry. "A & W Contracting is one of our preferred roofing contractors in the state of Georgia. When they are working with our products we know they will be installed correctly the first time and that they will stand behind their installation 100%," says Chad Stanton of Owens Corning.

"All of our employees are trained to meet and exceed building codes and OSHA requirements. When we install a roof, we pass inspection the first time," says the company's owner and founder, Andy Wills. "Because we meet such a high level of production for builders on new roofs, we wanted to offer homeowners the same quality production for replacement roofs and roof repairs," added Andy.

With so many new A & W roofs being installed for builders in Forsyth County, it only made sense for the company to open a second location in the area to better serve their customers.

Not only does the company have the mind set to call Forsyth County their second home, but they are excited to become an active participant of the community as well. A & W is big into community service. They have installed roofs on several Habitat for Humanity homes throughout Georgia over the past 15 years. They made a trip to Mississippi to install a roof on a Katrina home and they even installed a roof for Ty Pennington's design team on the popular television show, Extreme Home Makeover.

"We [the company] have done well over the years and we don't ever want to lose sight of that. Charity work within the community is just one of the ways we like to 'pay it forward'," says Andy.

Not only has the company proved to be a loyal contractor to builders and homeowners alike, the company's employees share an uncommon loyalty not found in many industries these days. Standing by Andy and A & W Contracting, many employees have been with the company for over 13 years. "Our company works like a family and I tell each employee to treat each and every house like it was their mother's," Andy says with a smile.

Weather, of course, can be the biggest enemy to any roof. "Strong forces by Mother Nature can cause even the best roof to fail," admits Andy. "We stand behind all of our roofing jobs, and no matter the cause, if one of our roofs has a problem, we will be there immediately to take care of it."

A & W Contracting offers free consultations and when a job is contracted no money is required up front.
